You all will know that travelling is one of my favourite things to do. I love planning new adventures, whether solo or with a group of friends. Whilst summer trips are great fun, there are so many travel destinations to explore during winter that will have you just as excited to pack your suitcase and jump on a plane.

1. Three Valleys - Meribel, Courchevel & Belleville
The Three Valleys, or Les 3 Vallées as it is formerly known in French, consist of the largest ski area in the world. Many ski resorts will open their doors during the first week of December, if you're a keen skier this will give you the opportunity to leave first tracks in the snow! This may be especially important for you if you want to avoid the influx of families that tend to descend during the school, Christmas holidays. If you're keen on avoiding this, the first two weeks of December are best recommended for you.
Whether you're a beginner or an advanced skier the Three Valleys is a must-have experience for all. There is so much to explore and with the valleys interconnected by seven ski resorts, there are numerous options for you to explore.

St. Moritz is the perfect destination for you if you are looking to indulge in a luxurious winter. St. Moritz is located in a luxury resort town in Switzerland. St. Moritz has hosted the winter Olympics on more than one occasion - it's very much the gold standard for a true winter experience.
In addition to being a ski destination, very few know that St. Moritz was initially launched as a summer destination due to it's mineral springs. For this reason, St. Moritz has some of the best quality spas in the world. Hotels such as the Kulm Hotel St. Moritz, provide you with the true 5* experience - seven restaurants, a world-class spa, golf course and mountain views. The Badrutt's Palace Hotel St. Moritz also offers you the chance to indulge in beauty and function, with spa and health and wellness services.

St Barts, formally known as Saint Barthelemy, is a French-speaking Caribbean island. St Barts is famous for its white sandy beaches that prove to be a major attraction in the winter months. The months of December to May are known as the "lent months" on the island, these are the best months to travel due to the dry season.
During this time of year, Gustavia, the capital of St Barts, is filled with yachts at its harbour. The high-end restaurants and shops in the capital also prove very popular. Although the official language of St. Barts is French, the island attracts sun-seekers from all of the world, so you won't have any issues getting around St. Bart when you arrive.
4. Lapland - Northern Lights
Lapland is in the Northern region of Finland and is home to ski resorts and the Northern Lights. Lapland is also famous for its reindeer with many visiting to have the true Christmas experience.
